Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­

Dr. Jerome P. Keuper was the founder and first president of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­. Dr. Keuper received a B.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.S. from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. According to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Today Online, "Dr. Keuper came to the Space Coast in 1958 as chief scientist in RCA's Systems Analysis Group." His career included director of the Federal Reserve of Independent Colleges and Universities, where he also served as chair of the Council of Presidents. Dr. Keuper also served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Under Keuper's guidance, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ grew from 225 students in 1958, to more than 7,500 in 1983. Dr. Jerome P. Keuper passed away on March 26, 2002.
