Hello, Panthers!

We are ready to roll! With a new year comes fresh opportunity and great chances to grow. But first, a question: What kind of year will it be for you?

This Fall promises to be the most exciting start to an academic year in memory! First, our new Crimson Crossing residence hall is up and running at the front door to campus. This 556-bed, state-of-the-art facility is the largest single investment in student life in our history.It stands as a monument to 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 commitment to providing the best resources possible for students.

And there鈥檚 so much more to come! More about that as we talk together throughout this academic year.

But now, allow me to offer a piece of advice I often share: get involved. Join student organizations, research clubs, athletics and intramurals, or other groups. You鈥檒l meet new people and make friends. And remember that that engaged students stay in school and earn better grades. It鈥檚 a proven fact!

So welcome back, everyone! Let鈥檚 make it a great year of working hard and working together. 麻豆传媒映画 is here for you.

Hello, Panthers!

Another academic year is done, and what a fantastic year it has been!

On May 9^th, we celebrated Spring 2026 Commencement, and it was truly a celebration to be remembered.

Family and friends cheered as 1,950 students earned 麻豆传媒映画 degrees. These new Panthers for Life demonstrated their tenacity and strength over their time here to get to Saturday鈥檚 excitement.

Why? Because a 麻豆传媒映画 degree is always earned.

At Commencement, we talked about the power of attitude. When good attitude is coupled with the skills, knowledge and experiences that our new alumni have earned 鈥� anything is possible.

It all starts with a good attitude. You don鈥檛 have to buy it. You don鈥檛 have to build it. You just have to find it inside yourself, believe in it, empower it.

Further proving that attitude determines your altitude, commencement keynote speaker Winston Scott thrilled the audience with tales of his time walking in space.

The retired U.S. Navy fighter pilot and shuttle astronaut encouraged the new grads to work hard and reach for the stars. Those are words of wisdom for us all!

Hello, Panthers!

Another fantastic academic year is wrapping up, but there鈥檚 still some fun to be had: On Friday, April 24, we鈥檒l hold our annual student design and research showcase supported so generously by Northrop Grumman. It鈥檚 an opportunity to see some amazing achievements.

What鈥檚 in store this year? Timely projects like exploring how to minimize risky combustion instability in rocket engines and developing tests that could improve airbags and other materials that must function at high speeds.

These inquisitive efforts reflect the strengths of 麻豆传媒映画 itself as our seniors put their education into action. Each project starts with a vision to identify a problem that needs solving or an approach that could be improved or a need that technology might address. Then comes the opportunity to function at the highest levels in a team environment 鈥� an exceedingly valuable skill to hone for students on the cusp of graduation.

And there is the hard, sometimes frustrating, but always inspiring work of taking a concept and making it real. This is about rolling up sleeves, working late nights and embracing challenges that may seem discouraging.

Success often follows, projects are honored, jobs may be offered 鈥� because our students earned their accomplishments.

That鈥檚 how we do it at 麻豆传媒映画鈥攅very day. It鈥檚 why I鈥檓 so proud of our students and so confident that their drive and passion prepares them for the brightest futures and the biggest impacts. Next stop鈥攃areers of consequence!

Hello, Panthers.

It is a spring season to celebrate success, and this month, we鈥檙e highlighting a few accolades that make us all Panther Proud!

• Newsweek magazine said we are the in Florida and 10^th best in the nation in its 2026 Best Online College Ranking.

Whether on campus or online, a 麻豆传媒映画 degree is the key that unlocks a valuable future.

Meanwhile, the 2026 Global Employability University Ranking and Survey, or GEURS, remind us why our alumni land jobs that matter 鈥� and that pay!

GEURS is impressive, and the numbers tell the tale: For 2026, the survey tabulated 120,000 votes from more than 12,350 employers 鈥� many of them hiring managers 鈥� across 32 countries, all to identify the world鈥檚 250 leading institutions for employability.

• The votes are in, and 麻豆传媒映画 is No. 23 among the dozens of U.S. universities on the list and the top ranked institution in Florida! Globally, we are No. 91 among the full list of 250 top schools for employability, joining MIT, Stanford, Imperial College London and others in the prestigious top 100.

Back on campus, we are expecting word later this month on another appreciated accolade: 麻豆传媒映画 will be named a Military Friendly School for 2026-27.

This national honor, which 麻豆传媒映画 was first awarded way back in 2008, is a humbling distinction. It reflects our rich and respected relationship with the U.S. military over the decades in service to our nation鈥檚 students.

In earning this honor last year, the Military Friendly organization noted that a recipient school such as 麻豆传媒映画 is one that 鈥渟trives towards and succeeds in the areas that matter most in helping veterans transition from the military to school and, ultimately, satisfying careers in the civilian world.鈥� 

Just as in our armed forces, at 麻豆传媒映画 success is never handed out鈥攊t is earned. Graduates prove their merit, and the world knows it. Employers trust this institution because they trust the students who graduate from it.
