Application Process
- Check out private institutions that participate in and complete respective admission applications by September 30.
- Complete the Tuition Exchange by November 1.
Once your application is submitted, we must confirm your dependent’s status through Human Resources. If you have not already uploaded acceptable documentation for your dependent through Workday for benefits purposes, instructions for doing so can be found on the Workday HR Job Aid site under 'Adding a Document to Workday.'
Acceptable Documentation: The Office of Human Resources requires documentation to confirm dependent status. This may include birth certificate, federal income tax return, court order, or other document(s) the Office of Human Resources deems adequate to provide proof of the individual’s legal relationship with the employee.

Application Process
Students wishing to attend Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» as part of the Tuition Exchange Program must:
- Submit an application for admission to attend Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» as a first-time full-time freshman in an undergraduate day program by January 15.
- Complete the Tuition Exchange . Once completed, your home institution will certify your eligibility to receive Tuition Exchange. Officer must receive a student’s certification notification by January 15 to be eligible for consideration.
Tuition Exchange recipients will be notified no later than April 15. To accept Tuition Exchange, students must notify the Tuition Exchange Liaison no later than May 1.
Award Details and Requirements
In 2025-2026, Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Tuition Exchange Scholarship awardees received $43,000 per academic year. The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Office of Financial Aid awards Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Exchange Scholarships based on academic performance, extracurricular achievement and any other indicators of the academic strength of prospective students. The scholarships will be available for four years (9 semesters). Any additional costs must be covered by the student. Room, board, flight training and other Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» fees are not covered by the Tuition Exchange Program scholarship. A student who is granted a Tuition Exchange Program scholarship is not eligible for any other scholarships or grants given by Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³».
When a student is granted a Tuition Exchange Program scholarship award, the student must maintain status in a full-time, on-campus undergraduate day program, maintain a 2.6 cumulative GPA, 75% or better completion rate, and comply in full with the policies and procedures of Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³». A Tuition Exchange Program scholarship may only be used for full-time undergraduate matriculation in the following colleges: College of Aeronautics; College of Business; College of Engineering and Science; and College of Psychology and Liberal Arts.
Students that hold a Tuition Exchange Program scholarship must be re-certified each year by the private college or university of the eligible parent/guardian and must fulfill all obligations of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Tuition Exchange Program scholarship.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» and the Tuition Exchange Program reserve the right to modify or terminate this program at any time.
