Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­’s Transit System includes telematics to support students with enhanced information about our shuttles and trolleys. Students, faculty and staff can access real-time transit system information including live shuttle tracking, arrival times, route details and more. 

Pedestrian Safety

Stop, look, and cross smart. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­, in collaboration with the City of Melbourne, maintain crosswalks throughout campus to allow for the safe passage across busy campus roads and city streets.

Students have access to the Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT) system throughout Brevard County.

Our Mission

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Transportation Department advances the university’s mission by delivering safe, timely, accessible, and efficient transportation services to students, faculty, staff, and guests across campus. We maintain and repair the university’s motor fleet and electric or fuel-powered equipment with a focus on a commitment to reliability, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence. Through responsive service and in-house expertise, we enable campus departments to fulfill their responsibilities with dependable transportation support.

We strive to enhance campus mobility through sustainable practices, responsible fleet management, and forward-thinking transportation strategies that serve students, faculty, staff, and guests.
