A number of substances regulated by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and other agencies are used for research and instructional purposes at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³». These substances are known as “controlled substances,” and their possession and use are governed by regulations that require established procedures to ensure safety and prevent abuse. Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» requires all individuals working with DEA controlled substances have up-to-date DEA registrations.
The Controlled Substances Program ensures that Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» is compliant with Federal and State regulations pertaining to the: use, handling, recordkeeping, storage, security, and disposal of DEA controlled substances.
