A College Built Around the Human Experience

Welcome to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»’s College of Psychology and Liberal Arts! Our college prepares students to be active problem solvers in a complex world, with a focus on the human experience: past, present, and future. The knowledge and perspective students gain through our courses and degree programs build critical skills and a broad worldview, and they support academic pursuits across every degree program Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» offers.

Our college includes three schools: the School of Behavior Analysis, the School of Arts and Communication, and the School of Psychology. Across these schools, outstanding faculty teach in a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, offered online and on our Melbourne and Orlando campuses. Undergraduate offerings range from psychology and applied behavior analysis to multiplatform journalism and humanities-pre-law. Our graduate programs are strong and growing, including master’s programs in applied behavior analysis, a PsyD in clinical psychology, and PhD programs in industrial-organizational psychology and behavior analysis. I invite you to explore our programs, our research, and the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» community.

At Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», students don’t receive knowledge passively in a traditional classroom; they help create it. We believe a university education should invite students into the process of knowledge itself: questioning what is currently known, discovering what we don’t yet know, building new understanding, and learning to communicate that understanding to others. Small classes, a supportive learning environment, and co-curricular opportunities such as our music ensembles are hallmarks of our college and of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», as are academic programs that combine classroom learning with real-world experience and research opportunities.

We believe that knowledge creates possibility. It can change what a student understands about the world, what a scholar decides is worth asking, what a community can accomplish, and what a profession can become.
