As a finance major, you’ll gain practical experience applicable to your career through hands-on learning experiences and case studies. You’ll complete detailed capital budgeting projects, learn to prepare and analyze financial statements and make corporate financial decisions, manage assets and study concepts such as WACC (weighted average cost of capital) and CAPM (capital asset pricing model).

The degree curriculum starts with an overview of global business, followed by study of emerging markets and financial globalization. Through the X-Culture project you can get first-hand experience working with a global virtual student team, completing a comprehensive business project for a multinational company. Study abroad opportunities are also available, allowing participants to earn credit while immersing themselves in another country’s culture.

The Nathan M. Bisk College of Business is dedicated to fostering ethical decision-making and educating leaders who make thoughtful decisions, set high standards and promote corporate accountability.
