Our computer engineering faculty is a highly accomplished group of scholars and practitioners. Many of our faculty members have won Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ teaching and research awards, served on national and international committees and worked with institutions around the world. They are passionate about their research, dedicated to advancing their fields and committed to teaching.

Cutting-edge technology and academic excellence converge at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­’s F.W. Olin Engineering Complex. This three-story, state-of-the-art facility features classrooms, conference rooms, a 142-seat multimedia auditorium and 26 specialized teaching and research labs.

Also on our 130-acre campus is the L3Harris Student Design Center, a one-of-a-kind “makerspace,” where engineering students bring their ideas and projects to life. Equipped with advanced tools and machinery, you’ll have everything you need to design, build, assemble and test out your ideas!

There’s a reason so many Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ computer engineering graduates receive job offers right after graduation: They can demonstrate their proficiency in high-demand skills thanks to a hands-on curriculum and a variety of real-world learning opportunities, including internships, faculty-mentored research and senior capstone projects.

We may be into AI and algorithms, but our focus is on the personal. With small class sizes and plenty of one-on-one time with faculty members, you’ll not only receive a high-quality education, but also build important connections and lifelong relationships along the way.

As a senior, you’ll show off your work and pitch your ideas to industry executives at our annual Northrop Grumman Engineering and Science Student Design Showcase. (Even before your senior year, you’ll have a chance to join project teams and gain valuable experience!) Past projects include a robotic lunar mining rover, an electric racing vehicle and an automatic trash-collecting robot.

Our students also put their skills and knowledge to the test through intercollegiate challenges around the country. For example,  is ranked No. 4 in the nation (2024).

Our campus is located on the Space Coast; our neighbor NASA-Kennedy Space Center is just north of us. We’re also in Florida’s “high-tech corridor,'' home to hundreds of technology, government and military organizations. As a student at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­, you’ll have ready access to real-world learning (and future employment) opportunities at some of the most familiar names in science and tech today, including NASA, L3Harris Technologies Inc., Google, Apple, GE, Collins Aerospace and Northrop Grumman Corp.
