Ombuds Office
The Ombuds Office is a confidential, impartial, informal, and independent resource for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» students, faculty, and staff to discuss questions or concerns related to the University and review possible options for potential resolution.
How does an Ombuds help a visitor?
- Provide a respectful, "safe," and "humanized" place for discussion and reflection
- Brainstorm options for possible resolution
- Facilitate conversations or informal mediations
- Refer to appropriate campus resources
- Explain University policies and procedures;
- Conduct training in communication and other skills
- Communicate with university officials on behalf of the office visitor, if permitted
