Personal Overview
Dr. Nicole Perez specializes in Cognitive Psychology and has taught psychology courses such as Research Methods, Cognition, Animal Behavior, and Neuropsychology. She has worked in a Science Learning Center at Florida Atlantic University as an Associate Director, where she oversaw science tutoring, supplemental instruction, and the development of new academic support programs and accreditation initiatives.
In her role, she has supervised undergraduate and graduate students, conducted learning center research, and made data driven decisions related to student learning and academic support. She has participated in regional conferences and served on the board of the Florida College Learning Center Association. In her current role as the School of Psychology Online Program Chair, she oversees the online AA and BA programs in Applied Psychology.

Dr. Perez's research interests include student learning, motivation, and professional development in undergraduate students. She is interested in supporting fully online students with their research endeavors and overseeing engaging online classes for psychology students.
