Mackenzie Smith
Meet Mackenzie! She is a Senior in Multiplatform Journalism in the College of Psychology & Liberal Arts and a member of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Women’s Lacrosse team. Originally from Flower Mound, Texas, Mackenzie chose Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» because she wanted to balance having a good academic experience while playing lacrosse. Being close to the beach was a huge plus! As a President’s Ambassador, she wants to develop her networking skills with alumni, community members, and other faculty/staff. She is eager to learn more about Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» and all the behind-the-scenes effort that goes into making the campus great. After graduation, she hopes to work for a sports team in media, preferably in videography/photography or graphic design.
Her favorite thing about Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»: “The Botanical Gardens and the outdoor concrete tables to sit outside of the library under the trees.â€
