Jill Eanes
Jill Eanes '91, '93 MBA is a Captain at United Airlines, where she also serves on the pilot recruitment team. She is a champion for diversity throughout the United and the aviation industry. She volunteers through Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³», United Airlines, and the Air Line Pilots Association to mentor aspiring pilots, with a particular emphasis on women and LGBTQ+ aviators.
Jill has 30 years of experience as a commercial pilot. She has over 20 years of service with United. In addition to flying for United, she has been a flight manager in the Chief Pilot's Office, facilitated a Human Factor Change Review course, and conducted Operational Efficiency training. She has also flown for regional airlines and low-cost carriers. She holds type ratings on nine different aircraft and is a former Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» flight instructor.
Jill is a three-time graduate of Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» '91 BS, and '93 MBA, earning both an associate's and bachelor's degree in Aviation Management with Flight, and an MBA in Human Resource Management. She is currently a member of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» College of Aeronautics Advisory Board and has established an endowed scholarship for LGBTQ+ Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» students, focusing on those studying aviation and aeronautics.
